“The Right Path” series was inspired by the large hydrangea bushes in my yard. As I was outside drawing that autumn afternoon and I looked at these plants way past their prime, it was a little surprising to see real beauty in those bare, graceful branches and the dried flowers doing their thing in nature. Nature goes through cycles of growth, maturity, decomposition, dormancy before growing again. Seems to be the right path of all living things.
